FAQ for TechLao Suppliers
- 1. How to I participate as a TechLao supplier?

To register as a TechLao supplier, you may log on to our website to
register. Documents needed are your Company Name, contact number, email
address, name of representative, ACRA latest report and your company
logo. If you are an individual service provider, you may provide
personal details such as the last 4 characters of your NRIC, Full name
as in NRIC, email address and contact number.
- 2. How do I get paid?

We will pay our suppliers at the end of the calendar month. Should your
service falls after the 10th of the month, you will get paid latest by
end of the following month.
From the First Payment collected, Tech Lao will levy a fixed $25/- fee.
Tech Lao will do a consolidated processing of all completed job orders
for a particular month in the first work week of the new month. Tech Lao
will then do a payment of the balance of the First Payment collected to
the Service Provider before the end of the new month.
For example: Let's supposed the First Payment as defined by an aircon
service provider is $90/-. The end user made a booking on 10-Jun-24, and
there was a successful match with the aircon service provider. The end
user would pay $90/- to the Tech Lao Platform. Tech Lao would issue a
receipt notice to the end user that $90/- had been collected on behalf
of the Service Provider.
The Service Provider then performed and completed the relevant job
within the month of Jun-2024 for the end user. It is possible that the
entire service costs is say $300 which was more than the First Payment
of $90/-. In this case, the end user would pay the remaining $210/- to
the Service Provider directly. The Service Provider would issue its
invoice for the whole service to the End User upon the completion of
service.
During the first week of Jul-2024, Tech Lao would do a consolidated
processing of all service jobs completed in the month of Jun-2024. For
the relevant aircon service job, Tech Lao had collected $90/- as the
First Payment from the end user. Tech Lao would then pay the balance of
payment of $65/- to the service provider before the end of July-2024.
- 3. How does your service work?

Our customers will be able to select from a list of suppliers from our
app. Upon selecting their preferred service provider, the customer will
need to pay some fees in advance. This fee will be used to offset any
additional cost that may incur depending on the complexity of the job
rendered. The advance payment is to prevent wasted trips which would
cost our Suppliers. When job is ascertained on site and with additional
costs incurred, our Supplier can use our app to generate a complete
quotation and would request customer to make a full payment. Supplier
will then be notified of a full payment and proceed with works.

4. Are there hidden costs for the Suppliers to be featured on TechLao
app?

No, there are no hidden costs for the Suppliers. Only when a payment is
made by the customer then TechLao will take a small percentage of the
total invoice.
- 5. What is the commission payable to TechLao?

We charge 25% of the total invoice paid by the customer. Supplier will
receive 75% of the amount they quoted.
- 6. What other incentives will Suppliers get?

We work on a merit system. They more job and ratings the Supplier get,
the higher in order will be displayed on our app. This will ensure the
best supplier get the most eyeball in our app.
- 7. How do I quit being a Supplier?

Suppliers can quit by giving TechLao notice not less than 30 days and no
outstanding jobs within the last 30 days of service from our app. Upon
quitting, we will settle any outstanding amount payable with the terms
spelt in Q2.

8. As TechLao supplier, can we join other website or app or take jobs on
our own?

TechLao's suppliers can take any job any where. We do not restrict the
freedom of our suppliers in whatever ways. We only request our Suppliers
to be on-time for any job they undertake from our app.
- 9. How do Suppliers get more attention on your app?

The best method is to undertake more jobs and get higher ratings from
customers. This will ensure that your company name be featured on the
highest spot. In addition, we have advertisement spaces for our
Suppliers to feature their products/services at a reasonable cost.

- Our TechLao app is featured on both iOS and Android.
